In some cases, reset the settings to the factory is quite simple, in others (when, for example, a password for input in BIOS/UEFI is installed). it is very difficult to do this!

In general, to discard the BIOS settings, most often, in cases:
- If the computer has ceased to work stably, and the nature of the cause is not clear;
- If you cannot enter the BIOS, as he asks to enter the password of the super-administrator;
- if Windows OS is not loaded (often it happens after setting up the boot line);
- If you are engaged in the overclocking of the processor, and you want to return the frequencies to optimal and safe.
Types of nutrition elements BIOS and their appearance
As a rule, a lithium nutrition element with a diameter of 2 cm with a voltage of 3 V is used as a bios battery. Its thickness can be different, and, as a result, can have a different container.

Several options for entering BIOS on HP
1) if you are with a relatively new device (~ release after 2013.)
If your laptop is new, then when you turn on any loading screen, it will not show (. : on old devices after turning on, the download screen with the keyboards for entering BIOS was shown).

If you do not have time to press the ESC button before loading Windows, then you can clamp the ESC button before turning on the laptop (and keep it until the system menu does not appear).
By the way, also on some models of laptops you can immediately press the F10 key (t.e. Enter BIOS without an intermediary in the form of a system menu).
2) if your laptop is already enough old.
In this case, immediately after turning on, you should display the download screen (on it, most often, the BIOS settings button is indicated). Below the photo shows a couple of options (in one case, the F10 key is used to enter. In another ESC).

3) if you have Windows 10/11.
In this case, you can enter the BIOS without pressing any system buttons at all (though the method is suitable if the system is loaded and you can open its parameters).
So, first open the Start menu and move into the parameters of the system (see. screenshot below).
