The idea of combining a DVR and a rearview mirror is not new enough. The first models were with a small screen at the edge by 4 inches, then there were screens at 7 inches in the center, but it was too early to talk about such devices as any replacement of the mirror. The appearance in the market of full-screen 10 “devices with a high-resolution FullHD rear-view camera in 2019 can already be taken seriously as a full-fledged replacement for a rear-view mirror. It is in such a mirror-recorder that this review will be discussed.
Among the various offers on AliExpress, the Jansite Global Store mirror-recorder stands out for the presence of a particularly sensitive rear-view camera. Excluding micro-SD card, a DVR with a super camera costs about 60.
Unboxing and first impressions
The delivery of the DVR from China took just a record time for this kind of parcel. as much as 45 days. For a whole month, the package was missing somewhere between China and Ukraine, apparently, it was transported on a bicycle. During this time, While there was no news, all the terms and hopes have passed; the delivery time ended, the dispute with the supplier was won, the money was returned. By the way, if the parcel was not delivered on time, the money is simply returned, it is just important, and not to click it with a beak, but to apply for a refund in time.
And yet, a large package did appear before our eyes. It should be noted that the mirror is packed seriously and very soundly. Not visible in the photo, but the box is already wrapped in three layers of “pimples”, Karl, three layers! Everything is carefully rewound with hard postal tape on all sides. you will not dig in. But, nevertheless, somehow, despite all the efforts, the box still turned out to be a little crumpled on the outside and with small tears inside. The mirror itself, thank God, was not damaged, although buyers have had such cases. Well, okay, the whole came. and thanks for that.
Box made of thick cardboard with a magnetic latch. not ashamed of a gift.
In the box we see a mirror, a power adapter from a car cigarette lighter, a rear camera, rubber rings, fastening screws and Velcro. For those who learn Chinese, there is a simple instruction with translation into English. The seller included a deshman USB adapter for microSD cards as a gift.
In appearance, the mirror looks discreetly elegant and very soundly. Chinese origin only reveals Jansite branded sticker wrapped like last year’s slice of cheese.
On the upper edge of the mirror there are connectors for miniUSB power supply and a rear camera, a slot for a microSD card. The only mechanical button in the device. for switching on / off is moved to the bottom edge. The only one because everything is registrar control. through the touch screen mirror. The mirror glass is slightly tinted and, indeed, has a 2.5D rounding along the edge.
The integrated front camera is swivel-mounted and located on a retractable arm. Such a device allows you to choose the optimal angle for the camera, regardless of the position of the mirror itself and the presence of darkened areas on the front glass in the area where the mirror is located.
It is in this configuration of the DVR that the Super NightVision rear view camera is provided. At first glance, the camera really differs from all other cameras, which are usually equipped with car recorders. Both in size and in weight, it inspires some confidence in the manufacturer’s stated promises. There is no backlight in the camera, because the camera should do just fine in the dark without it. Well, let’s see.
Device weight 317 g, width 250 mm, height 64 mm. At the same time, you can immediately see that the screen itself is slightly smaller than glass, and not as it is painted in Chinese advertising from edge to edge. Real screen size is 232 × 58 mm.
Turning on the recorder (cold start) is very fast. In just a couple of seconds, I grunted a couple of chords to the signature intro. and the device is ready to work.
In working condition, the DVR screen displays only the current time / date and service status icons. On closer inspection, the screen image looks a little rough, the inscriptions are without anti-aliasing. Hmm. What is his permission? But let’s count the pixels ourselves, but we can wait for the Chinese brothers for anything. Macro photography showed that there are about 6 pixels per millimeter, i.e. The density of the matrix is about 150ppi, and the total resolution is about 1400 × 350 pixels. Well, as if not so bad. According to some competitors, they say that the mirror’s screen resolution is 1280 × 320, maybe so. For example, the pixel density on a smartphone with an FHD screen is about 400ppi.
The DVR has a fairly simple and user-friendly interface. Among the various languages, there is also Russian. The main menu is made in the form of tiles, it is convenient to use even while driving.
Installation, connection and configuration
We put the video recorder in place
The installation of the DVR itself in the car does NOT cause any particular difficulties. It is enough to attach it to the standard salon mirror and fix it to the ears with rubber rings from the kit.
Before that, I used a panoramic mirror on a suction cup in the car. Of course, it provided a view of the blind spots, but only at the level of the glass. Therefore, to install the mirror-recorder, I had to say goodbye to the “panorama” and return the regular flat mirror to its place. When the recorder is off, the Jansite 10 mirror can be used as a regular salon mirror. As you can see in the photo, the view from the rear window in it is the same as that of the standard.
As already noted, the Jansite 10 recorder mirror can be used as a regular salon rear-view mirror or as a screen for displaying images from the rear camera. The mirror can be installed-adjusted mirrors so that the view through the rear window is visible. When the screen is off, it seems like nothing changes. One has only to turn on the screen. on the reflected image of the mirror, the image from the screen will also be superimposed, i.e. View from the window, and view from the camera. The result is a complete mess in which to make out something, and even when moving, it is simply not possible. Plus, in sunny weather, the screen picture is completely clogged with street light.
Alternative option. adjust the mirror so that it “looks” either at the ceiling or down on the seats. Better still in the ceiling, since the light falling on the seats can also glare in the mirror. As a result, our salon mirror. is no longer just a mirror, but a purely monitor for the rear view camera.
Many OEM interior mirrors have a night mode position switch if you are blind from behind with headlights. Using this switch, you can quickly transfer the “look” of the mirror from the ceiling to the rear window and vice versa.
Connect
Connecting the DVR is also quite simple. To connect to the cigarette lighter, the kit includes an adapter with a three-meter cable and a mini-USB connector. The length of the cable is just enough to gently guide it around the torpedo and window pillars. For the first tests, such a connection is quite enough, but for normal operation of both the recorder itself and the capabilities embedded in it, it is better to use a stationary connection through a special adapter. In addition, in this case, the cigarette lighter socket remains free, for example, for charging the phone. At first, rather than bothering with laying wires on the interior maps, connecting the recorder took just a few minutes.
The rear camera is connected to the DVR with a special cable through a standard connector. The camera itself works constantly and its power is supplied from the recorder itself. But to turn on the reverse mode, you must additionally connect the red signal wire to one of the reverse lamps. Learn more about this mode. rumors later.
Connecting the cameras itself is also not a problem, but I had to tinker a little with the installation itself. Of course, the camera can be placed, rather than bothering too much, under the upper edge of the rear window. However, in this case, the camera will look through the glass and if it is graceful, foggy or something else, then you will get this view. Optimally fix the camera in the license plate niche or under the spoiler.

Electronic rearview mirror
The Jansite 10 video recorder was supposed to be used primarily as a super-rear-view mirror monitor, therefore, this is where we start.
Normal driving mode
As I noted above, it makes sense to use a mirror-recorder only in one mode. or a rear camera monitor, or an ordinary mirror. If we try to combine both the monitor and the mirror, we get a complete cacophony.
The image from the rear camera is broadcast, as it should be, in a mirror image. When driving, unnecessary control icons are removed from the screen so as not to clutter the screen.
Switching the view from cameras is carried out by sliding your finger across the screen to the side, it does not matter in which direction. The views are switched cyclically: the view of the front camera or the rear, and combined options “picture in picture” and both views side by side. Combine rear and front views on one screen I see no point. it will only be seen worse, and strangers will only distract. In general, in everyday life, they switch between types of special need and there is no, except when adjusting the camera angle. The default view is set in the mirror menu.
Since the mirror screen is significantly narrower than a standard 16: 9 FullHD frame, the entire image does NOT fit. You can glimpse into hidden areas by sliding your finger up and down. And again, in everyday use with the right camera angle, this also usually does not arise. In choosing the right angle. rumors later when parsing the functions of the DVR.
Still, the screen is a mirror. It is an active emitting LED matrix that can blakey in daylight and stress with bright light at night. To compensate for ambient light, the mirror screen has 3 degrees of brightness. Switching brightness. manually only: minimum for dark time, average brightness for twilight and maximum maximum for bright daylight. In general, this range is quite enough, although there are still a lot of rumors for night driving outside the city. Somewhat excessive brightness of the backlight makes the black areas of unlit areas dark gray. The inscriptions also turn out to be a little bright. it seems like all this is not critical, but still. When driving around the city at night, the minimum brightness is optimal.
Since the brightness of the image is Fixed, no matter how much you are blinded from behind with a bright light at night, the screen will shine on you no more than you set. Of course, there will be an extensive halo of illumination from the headlights on the screen, but this does not affect the brightness in any way, and this is undoubtedly a plus! In addition, to reduce this halo, the electronics reduce the camera‘s sensitivity.
The rear view in the electronic mirror resembles the view in a conventional panoramic mirror, but there are no blind spots from the side racks or the trunk. At a time when the leading car in the next lane has already disappeared from the side mirror, but it is still not visible with peripheral vision. in the electronic mirror everything is perfectly visible in full.
The picture quality on the mirror screen is quite tolerable. Of course, the screen resolution is not enough, small details are lost at a distance and, in comparison with an ordinary mirror, the picture on the monitor mirror loses. Nevertheless, while driving, you don’t have to peer into the little things, and the available picture quality is quite enough to assess the traffic situation.
Reversing parking monitor
When the reverse gear is turned on, the mirror goes into a special mode: it turns on the screen, if it was turned off, and forcibly displays the image from the rear camera. In this mode, you can choose to display the rear camera view either partially, as in normal movement, or the entire image. As for me, it makes sense to immediately choose this particular full image format in order to see ALL the situation both in the distance and immediately in front of the rear bumper. Of course, in order to squeeze the entire image, the video recorder has to compress it vertically almost 2 times. It looks unusual, but the information content It does not affect.
In addition, parking guidelines are superimposed on the image. This is a very useful thing when reversing. for a clear understanding of machine dimensions and free space. In reality, parking guides look somewhat kolkhozno and do NOT look like what is usually painted on advertising photos. anyway.
Basically, parking guides represent a rectangle of your “comfort” zone behind your vehicle while parking and reversing. In advanced car registrars, this rectangle can be adjusted to suit your car and your own feelings of the safe zone, both its “depth” and width. In the same registrar, you can only adjust the “depth” of the site for the car.
The “width” is NOT regulated in any way and, in fact, is even less than the width of the “Tavria”. The photo clearly shows how the markup does NOT correspond to the real width. I can’t even imagine what kind of super compact car it is designed for. Such a mess can become a serious problem when reversing in a narrow or wobbling corridor, as it is confusing, narrowing the real perception of the dimensions of your car.
“Depth” of the safety distance. The concept is relative, depends on many factors: the height and angle of the camera installation, your own understanding of the required distance from your bumper to the obstacle. Again, parking guides. these are imaginary virtual lines at the asphalt level, and the real bumper of someone else’s car will be higher. For example, if you adjust the normal distance of 0.75 m at the asphalt level along the purple line, then for the bumper it will be a blue or even green line. This point must also be taken into account when approaching back to the second car, otherwise you may stop too close.
Of course, these moments are somewhat frustrating, but this will not last long. It is enough just once to drive backwards along the “corridor” in the parking lot in December evening, when everything inside is fogged up, everything outside will get wet and neither in the windows nor in the mirrors, in principle, you just can’t see anything. It is then that you begin to understand what it means to move according to instruments, even if it is NOT so perfect.
I think for most drivers there is a need to talk about the separate pleasure of maneuvering near all kinds of concrete blocks, pipes sticking out of the ground and other cute “surprises”. Usually such gifts of fate are not visible in any mirror, and when they “groped” it with the rear bumper, it is usually already “too late to drink Borjomi”.
It is quite another matter if you have an electronic rear-view mirror, for example, type Jansite 10 “. As you can see in the photo, looking into it, you can feel confident next to any crap sticking out of the ground on a cloudy day and deep at night.
Everything is perfectly visible in the rear camera, even if there is impenetrable darkness around, the car is completely dirty with precipitation and bad weather, when a rare street light creates glare on drops around and glitches in your eyes, and you have only one reversing light shining.
Once I had to train with the mirror turned off, Using it exactly as an ordinary mirror. It’s just some kind of tin, it’s even hard to imagine how I used to drive without a rear-view monitor. No more can be seen through the rear window in the mirror than through an embrasure or keyhole. And when parking in reverse, it is not at all clear why a salon mirror is needed at all, if nothing is visible in it in front of the rear bumper. Whether it’s the case. view from camera
Video recorder
If the Jansite 10 “electronic mirror is equipped with a microSD card, you can use it as a car DVR. The system sees cards up to 64GB, but cards with a class NOT lower than 10 are required. I used a Kingston Canvas Go series maximum card! ( UHS-I Class U3) designed for action cameras, drones and car DVRs.
Video is recorded in separate files in blocks of 1, 2 or 3 minutes. All files are put into separate folders for each camera and are marked with additional letters A and B, respectively. Each file occupies a fixed size, regardless of the length of the recording inside it. For example, one-minute clips with FullHD resolution take up 230MB. Thus, when using a card with a maximum volume of 64GB, the DVR archive contains only about 2 hours of recording from both cameras. In general, not very much. Therefore, it is still better to take a memory card of the maximum size.
AVI video files can be played directly from an SD card on any device, and even TVs understand it perfectly.
Blocking records from deletion
When the memory is full, old records are automatically deleted and new ones are written in their place. To manually protect an important recording from deletion, you can either during an active recording or while viewing the Video Archive, click on the On-screen button with a lock. The file will be renamed from MOV.Avi to LOC.Avi and thus protected from being overwritten.
The recorder has a built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) for automatic protection of critical video files, for example, in the event of an accident or other moments accompanied by a blow to the car. When struck, the current video will be automatically locked from being overwritten. Sensor sensitivity (high / medium / low) is set in the menu. At high sensitivity, the sensor will begin to respond to all our road bumps and bumps. In this case, the memory on the card will very quickly be crammed to capacity with blocked videos. there will simply be nowhere to write a new one, which immediately and declare the device.
You can unlock / unlock the recorded video while viewing the Video Archive. In order not to fiddle with each file, it’s easier to format the card in a couple of seconds. It is optimal to set the average sensitivity and at least sometimes look into the archive to remove the facts of road carelessness.
Motion recording
In video surveillance systems, video recording on motion. one of the fundamental functions that allows you not only to seriously save space in the Video Archive, but also helps a lot when parsing video recordings, highlighting only real events. The Jansite 10 car DVR also has this function, but its operation is NOT at all delightful:
- First, the real savings are practically comments. even a second triggering will form a file for the entire interval specified in the menu, for example, 1 minute. Therefore, when driving, we will receive the same volume of recording, and while parking, a separate parking monitoring mode is provided.
- Secondly, extremely low sensitivity to motion, which is not yet adjustable. In order for the recorder to understand that the movement is still occurring, you need a sufficiently bright daylight and displacement of sufficiently large areas, for example, a piano span of several meters. At dusk and at low speed in 2nd gear, nothing will be recorded at all in this mode.
By virtue of all of the above, the motion recording mode in the implementation of the Jansite 10 DVR is a completely useless function.
Due to low sensitivity to movement, the DVR records video only when driving above 20 km / h. When driving off an intersection or driving in courtyards, video is NOT recorded.
Parking monitoring
When using a permanent connection through the cigarette lighter (if it is not turned off by the ignition key) or a simple adapter, the recorder can theoretically be used for parking monitoring. For this, there is even a menu item “Parking mode” (high / medium / low) and the letter “P” on the screen. However, what is its action and real work, it is completely incomprehensible, it seems that it does not affect anything at all.
It is quite another matter if you use a special power adapter in the “ACC” control mode or turn on the ignition to connect the recorder. For this, in addition to connecting the power supply, it provides a separate 3rd wire for connecting to the ignition switch. Correct connection of the DVR in the car. very soon a separate post.
By the way, now Jansite equips this DVR of just this type with an adapter connected to the ignition switch.
When 12V is applied to the signal input “ACC”, the recorder automatically receives a wake-up command from the adapter and operates in normal mode. When you disconnect 12 from the signal wire (turn off the ignition), after 10 seconds, the recorder actually switches to the “Time loop” parking monitoring mode. In this mode, the DVR records video from both cameras, at a very low rate, for example, 1 frame per second, thus, a compressed 30 minute recording fits into a one-minute video. In general, the mode is very sensible, so as not to guess later who gouged the flashlight or some other damage.
The recording frequency can be selected in a certain range in a separate menu item, which appears only when the recorder “hears” a signal from the power adapter. In addition, another item “Cut-off in ACC” appears (off / 12h / 24h). What is it for? It is not entirely clear, apparently, in case you for some reason left the ignition on in the parking lot. Drunk or something.
When the Jansite 10 recorder is actively working with the screen turned on, the power consumption of the device is about 6W, when the screen is turned off. about 4.5W, i.e. At the level of one side lamp. It seems like a little, but if the battery is not very new, undercharged, then overnight we can get an already significant level of charge leakage.
As a rule, such adapters for parking monitoring have the function of protecting the battery from full discharge. For example, when the supply voltage drops below 11.8 V, they turn off the recorder. Of course, in this way, the battery will be saved from full discharge, but will the remaining charge be enough for you to start in the morning? How would NOT have to be content with viewing the night archive instead of an urgent and important trip on a frosty morning.
After one of the December nights, the recorder, having worked until 6 in the morning, was disconnected by the adapter, and in the morning I had to hastily recharge the battery to start on a cold damp morning, I had to slightly change the scheme for switching on the video recorder. The adapter was powered via a relay from the ignition circuit. When the ignition is turned on, the mirror turns on, when turned off. turns off after 10 seconds. Good thing. the start of the mirror is fast. Until summer, so far, without parking monitoring, but it’s better than gimor with engine start.
Sound recording
Yes, in addition to recording the video itself from cameras, the Jansite 10 DVR can also record sound through the built-in microphone. To be honest, the need for this is highly questionable. to record music from a radio tape recorder or how periodically you have to quietly swear at another smart guy on the road? Well. everyone’s business, the microphone can be turned on / off in the menu.
In the parking lot, with the engine off, the microphone records sound with a pretty good quality, the voice is heard quite clearly. When driving, by noise and vibration, nothing is heard.
Photography
The DVR, in addition to recording video files, also allows you to take photos, both on the go and in a special mode. Pictures during recording. these are essentially screenshots or still frames from a video stream. Accordingly, they have the same resolution and quality as video. 1920 × 1080 (2MP). It is enough to press the on-screen button during video recording and the photo from both cameras will be saved on the DVR card. The size of photo files is about 150kB. For example, this file size in PhotoShop is only obtained with low quality photos. 20 points out of 100.
In addition to screenshots, the video recorder can take photos in higher quality and resolution in a specially designed “Capture” mode. The pictures are “square” with a ratio of 4: 3 in a resolution of 4032 × 3024 (12MP) and only from the built-in front camera. Yes, of course, 12 megapixels. This is cool, but because of just “wild” compression, the quality of the photo does not get much better. For example, this is how a 12MP photo from the front camera looks like. Of course, it had to be reduced and cropped, but you see the key inserts in the original resolution.
Here’s another comparison of screenshot fragments and snapshots
Viewing Video Archive
It is, of course, better to watch the recorded video on a large TV or computer screen in the full width of the FullHD format. However, the Jansite 10 DVR allows you to watch video in field conditions and on your screen, however, due to the ultra-wide screen format, the video will be strongly flattened vertically. Here in the archive you can delete a video or remove / set a lock on a file.
Recording quality
No matter how convenient and functional the car DVR is, the quality of the received recordings is crucial.
Approaching the question of how well and far the DVR sees and writes, it is not bad to observe, and how much we ourselves see on the road. For example, the same license plates in daylight can be seen at a distance of about 4 buildings, i.e. Up to 20m.
From the experience of building video surveillance systems, I will say that the resolution of conventional FullHD 2MP cameras is, in general, quite enough to obtain a fairly good image at a shooting distance of up to 10 m. panoramic cameras with an angle of more than 120 ° will lose detail even at a shorter distance. Let’s see how the quality of the recorded videos on the Jansite 10 recorder corresponds to the promises of crafty sellers.
The maximum resolution for recording in a Jansite 10 “recorder is FullHD 1920 × 1080. At this resolution, the video stream from both cameras is recorded in MJPG format at 30 frames / sec.
The Jansite 10 DVR mirror can be described, first of all, as a convenient rear-view monitor with an excellent angle instead of the classic salon mirror. In addition, this mirror can also be used as an inexpensive but functional amateur-level car DVR.
Navigator with video recorder and radar detector in the rear-view mirror. Installation on the example of Kia Rio
Hello dear readers! Today for your attention, the author wants to present a rather interesting device. Namely, a navigator with a DVR and radar detector in the rear-view mirror of the car.
The thing is really cool and useful. Such a mirror really makes the difficult life of the driver easier and helps a lot on the road. And besides, now you will not need to hang the entire department of household appliances on the glass. Here all in one.
It must be said right away that in this article the main emphasis is placed on a general description of the device and its installation in a car. That is, it turns out a kind of introduction to the course.
Articles:
Honestly, from the moment of buying a car, thoughts began to come to the bright mind of the author of the article about how to purchase a two-disc radio on Android with a navigator and a rear-view camera.
But the trouble is that even on Chinese sites, such gadgets are quite expensive. For example, one of the popular representatives of this species:
In total, this story ended very well. After long sleepless nights, a way out of this awkward situation was finally found. Meet the dash cam with navigator, radar detector and rear view camera:
Here I must say that the purchase was made on the Aliexpress website at the end of last autumn. At that time, the cost of this device with a 32 GB flash drive was 121. Now, as we can see, the price tag has grown a little.
So, okay, but we will not describe in detail the technical characteristics of the device here. For those who are very interested, please go to the site where it was purchased (the link was above) and there you will find all the detailed information:
The only thing Zaostrov needs attention is that at the time of purchase the mirror was scientifically called U-route S600. Now it is sold under the Junsun brand. But believe me, these are the same eggs, only in profile.
Immediately I apologize for some blurry pictures. So to speak, he tried as best he could, but this very “could” let him down a little. But, as they say, this is not the essence of the plot. Now the view with the screen on:
It should be noted that in this regard, the mirror has flexible settings. You can make the display go out after a minute without pressing it. Now, a close-up view from the outside:
Now a little further, for a complete understanding of the dimensions:
In general, the device itself fits perfectly into the overall picture of the cabin and does NOT look like an alien element at all. The only nuance that you need to know when buying is its width, which is about 30 cm.
And here we must remember about the sun visor in the car. For example, in the author’s small car (Kia Rio), this gadget fit right next to it. So that’s it. By the way, the rear view camera hasn’t been shown to you yet. Here she is:
It should be said that it is mounted quite easily. Again, in our case we didn’t even need to drill anything. But there will be a separate article about this, where everything will be shown in detail. So stay tuned for the blog update.
Now let’s talk about how a mirror was mounted with a navigator, a DVR and a radar detector in one bottle. And in fact, it’s very easy.
The main task that was posed during the installation was to exclude any overhanging of wires over the dashboard. And as you saw in the pictures above, we managed to do it.
Now let’s get down to the details. If you look at the device close up, you can see three plugs that fit it at the top:
One of them comes from recharging, the second is connected to an external GPS sensor, which hangs on the glass. And the third wire is our rear view camera. They are all neatly hidden between the headliner and the roof.
Further, the power cord to the cigarette lighter goes along the edge of the ceiling and goes down through the right pillar down the glove compartment. It looks like this schematically:
The stand itself only needs to be pulled gently at a 90 degree angle at the top. Under the influence of force, its sheathing will unfasten a little:
B do not try to remove it completely, as it is held by a special clip, which resembles a shock absorber in its construction. That is, stretched out on one knee and nothing else.
Now let’s consider the power supply to the cigarette lighter itself. Here I had to think a little with my head how and what to do correctly. At least on the web, no ready-made options were found.
But still, here everything turned out very neat and smooth. We look:
As you can see, the wire itself comes out of the panel on which the 12V sockets and USB connectors are located. And he gets there from the space behind the glove compartment. I must say that such a broaching scheme in real life is quite simple.
But for this you still need to disassemble part of the center console. How to do this without breaking clips and fasteners can be seen in a short video that was dug on the Internet:
It is necessary to watch until the panel with sockets is removed, since the entire console, in our case, needs to be disassembled. So, guys, that seems to be everything and is ready to run. So let’s go.
We open the main menu of the device and see the following picture:
The first thing that catches your eye is the crooked translation into Russian. Yes, my friends, I must admit that almost all available applications have a clumsy translation. But do not despair, in the future we will fix this matter.
Now we start the video recorder. Attention, camera, motor:
What can you say about him? I was pleased with the fact that in real time the mirror simultaneously writes to two channels: front and back. The picture quality can be equated to 720P.
An example of a recording on a very bright sunny day can be viewed at the link here. Only quality, choose the best:
By the way, people, share your opinion, is it good or not? If you turn on the reverse speed, then the rear view camera is automatically triggered:
We will talk about it separately, but not within the framework of this article. Now we look at the radar detector:
Again, we see a crooked translation, but, as mentioned above, we will correct this matter later. As for the function itself. I will say this: it really works on both stationary radars and wearable ones.
But there are also periodic false positives. Therefore, it is far from the professional level here, but it cannot be called complete shit either. Here is an opinion.
For comparison, the author would not hurt a train with a cooler device of a similar profile to understand the difference. And as they say, for lack of a better.
After that, Navitel Navigator was launched, which worked just fine. We pampered a little with an FM transmitter, although in our case, it is not very important:
Then, with the help of the author’s smartphone, the distribution of the Internet was organized via Wi-Fi. The mirror connected to the access point quickly and without problems:
But I must say that there is no Russian keyboard by default. Therefore, this case will also need to be conjured up in the future. And on this, our little story about a navigator with a DVR and a radar detector in the rear-view mirror is over.
And what conclusion can be drawn from the ending? In general, the author really liked the device, first of all, for its functionality and ease of installation. At least the whole department of household appliances does not hang on the glass.
