Way 2: How to Download Photos from Samsung Phone to Mac Computer via USB Cable

Step 1 Also enable USB debugging on your Samsung Galaxy and then connect it to your Mac with a USB cable. To avoid data loss and damage to the device, we suggest that you use the original cable.
Step 2When the USB Connect screen appears on your phone, select the option related to “PTP”. This is slightly different from Windows PC as Mac does not support MTP mode.
Step 3Then, the built-in Image Capture app on the Galaxy should open and ask if you would like to transfer images from Samsung Galaxy S6 to computer. Confirm it to start the process. If you have accumulated a lot of HD photos on your smartphone, the process may take a while.
Way 1: How to Transfer Photos from Samsung Android to PC with USB Cable
To help you understand the procedure, we use Samsung Galaxy S7 as an example.
Step 1 First of all, you need to enable USB debugging mode on your Galaxy S4. Open the Settings app from the app drawer, go to Applications Development and enable USB Debugging.
Tip: If you can’t find the Development submenu on the Apps screen, go to Settings About Phone, click About Phone to activate it.
Step 2 Connect your Galaxy S7 to your computer using a USB cable. And when the pop-up message asks if to allow access to device data, click “Allow” to allow it.
