What you need to buy cartridges for a food printer

In confectionery printing, only edible ink can be used, which are made from food additives and synthetic dyes. Sometimes you can buy such paint already tucked in cartridges. However, it is more profitable to purchase food ink in jars and after refueling them cartridges. You can buy ink for two types, depending on the brand of the printing device. Canon food printers are perfectly suitable for edible paint from Kopiform (Germany). Many consumers also use it for the printing technique of Epson Cake, but this is not right. The fact is that the manufacturer recommends using such ink only at a temperature of 25 ° C or more. In this regard, it is recommended to buy special piezo ink from Lesepidado (Italy) for EPSON.

This is interesting to know: many instead of acquiring special edible ink for Epson add glycerin to Kopiform, diluted in distilled water (or just water, 10-12 ml / 100 ml of paint).

Instructions for remaking a jet printer in food

Make a food printer from a jet is not a problem. All that is necessary for this is to buy all the necessary components (printer, empty PZK, ink and antibacterial flushing fluid) and make the following:

But how can you judge by the video. the print speed of Epson 1290 is extremely low. In principle, such an apparatus has the right to life when you need to print 3-5 T-shirts per day, especially considering its budget at 150. But it’s all good on white T.shirts. But to print on black t.shirts. 1290 had only two channels left where white ink could be filled. And the speed of the white print was even slower than color. In general, a black T.shirt could easily leave an hour and a half. But this speed did not suit me and the place Epson 1290 was taken by Epson R1800. As I learned later, a lot of people are faced with this problem in textile printers based on R1800/R1900/R2400 (this is all essentially brothers). So I want to warn right away. if you do not want to suffer, then do not pour white ink into these devices.

At the age of 12, I dreamed of building a machine that would be able to create various things. A machine that will give me the opportunity to make any household item. Two years later, I stumbled upon the CNC phrase

or more precisely, then on the phrase “CNC platform”. After I found out that there are people able to make such a machine on their own for their needs, in my own garage, I realized that I could also do it.I must do it ! For three months I tried to collect suitable details, but did not budge. Therefore, my obsession gradually faded away.

In August 2013, the idea to build a CNC milling machine captured me again. I just graduated from the bachelor’s attendant of the University of Industrial Design, so I was quite sure of my capabilities. Now I clearly understood the difference between me today and me five years ago. I learned to work with metal, mastered the techniques of work on manual metalworking machines, but most importantly, I learned to use tools for development. I hope this instruction will inspire you to create your CNC machine!
